Garage
mystery wire

I have been trying to find where the other end of this is with no luck. I peeled back the insulation to put my test light on and try and find out if it is live, I get no voltage with the key on car running or with ac on and I can not for the life of me find where this should go. Now the issue is 1. the AC compressor will not come on. also I have put this wire to ground with no spark or any signs of connection. It is located on the drivers side coming out from the loom under the air filter housing.
2001 Boxster s Any suggestion would be appreciated
