Hood fading and re colour / conditioning

Hello everyone.

So my hood is looking quite faded and a bit tired. It has not got any holes so I am looking to try and make it a good colour again, I guess black. There are some bodywork polishes to aid with covering scratches, which come in black and I was wondering if something like that would work on the hood or are there other products or ways to make the roof look more black and maybe even condition the fabric?

Ragtop makes a conditioning and preservation kit for our cloth tops. it will help darken the fabric. Help is the concern but you might want to consider trying it.

Cheers buddy. Question though- what does ‘help is the concern’ mean?

My bad...i should have said it would darken the fabric slightly rather than make it look like new.
