Seat recline only

Several weeks ago I took my seats apart to put new LSEAT skins on them. Put them back together, however, when I went to adjust the seat back, it reclines only. When I put the seats back together, I found a tiny spring that belonged in the recline switch. I put it back where I thought it belongs, but now I'm guessing it's not where it should be. Where did I go wrong? Hard to drive with the seat reclined to where it currently is. PLEASE HELP

99 base.

I suggest that you check whether the part of the seat recline switch you touch with your hand is positioned over the nubs on the electronics part of the switch. One of the holes on the black plastic part may not be aligned over the nub that actually operates the switch mechanism.

Garage
Can you check/compare it to the opposite side seat?
