Roof won’t close

Went out and opened the roof. No issues. Got home and went to close the roof and it won’t go up! I can hear the motor working and the back cover just above the truck goes up but the actual roof won’t go up. Motor and button seems to work but it jams. Any ideas?

Could be broken rods that lift the roof, of bad top transmissions. If the clamshell is moving normally, I'm guessing rods for the roof. Most likely the plasctic sockets on the end ofr the rods are broken. Can you bring the roof up by hand with the clamshell raised?
