Unhappy I had to do it....

I enjoy the looks of my Boxster as much as most, but my primary interest is in performance and the driving experience. That being said, for the last few weeks I have been avoiding the inevitable, driving with the top down every time I took the car out, or riding the bike if it looked like rain.

But today it is raining like crazy here in Central Virginia, and I needed to drive the Boxster. So out came the clear packing tape and I taped up the tear in the rear window that I got a few weeks ago. This latest mod gives the car a classic, sorta Beverly Hillbillies look, but hey, I live in Farmville, Virginia......

try some clear caulking silicone from Home Despot. You'll need a new window anyway but it won't look so budget.

LOL nice, i had so much clear post office packing tape on my window, i started telling people i was sponsered by the Postoffice. It worked well but after about 2 months it get noisey. Buying a new top is the best thing i've ever done.
