Oh, and it will turn itself off after a few minutes if you dont open the door after turning the car off. So your choices are:
turn radio off
Open door
Wait

Thank you!! I tested without opening the door before
This will solve my situation. I just want to keep my key in cylinder.

Leaving the key in the ignition will cause the car's electronics to stay on and run the battery down fairly quickly. Take the key out.
