I live in a rural area. Every fall this becomes an issue in the boats, campers,cars, house. I’ve had them inside the batwing fairing on the Harley. I once had one take a snap trap and somehow transported it into a closed drawer of my craftsman roll away tool box in the garage. The glue traps are really for the babies that don’t use enough force to set off the snap traps. I concur the scent will lead you to them. They can get into places you can not imagine best of luck
