Or... just purchase four nuts/bolts/whatever that are one to two sizes smaller in diameter than the others and install one on each wheel. If a criminal really wants the wheels we hope he didn't bring that smaller socket.

Tried the 18 mm. Can't see how that would work.

Are you saying force smaller socket onto the round protrusion in front of locking lug bolt?

Yes, with a BFH. Use the smallest socket that you can fit on it.

19mm over the outside of the locking lug.
