Cold Weather Noises in Top

Now that the weather is cold I notice that with the top up the right kind of bumps cause a clicking or low pitched squeak like noise from the area of the plastic inserts between the top and window. It's not much of a bother and but I am wondering if anyone has found a lubricant or way to stop the noise that seems to be made by these cold plastic components bouncing together over bumps. I really don't want to have the dealer fiddle with it since they tend to pull things apart and learn as they go on an issue like this. Thanks.

I'd try some Armor All first.

I had the same sound. Stopped at the dealer and was told it is the bare metal on the plastic parts of the roof that makes the clicking sound. They opened the roof and sprayed a silcone spray on the metal parts and the sound was gone.

Thanks Airboxster I'll drop by the dealer one day. When you say they opened the roof you mean they just opened it a little so they could get to the metal parts, they didn't take anything apart?
