Porsche produced 18,887 Model Year '98 Boxsters. There is no database available noting how many of each color were produced. Total Boxster production to date is approx. 165,000. Hope this helps...

Hi,

Nope, Porsche, in their annual report (source cited), does not break the cars out by model designation (911 either).

I did read an article from PCA which said production is about 50/50 Manual/Tiptronic S and about 60/40 Base/'S', but not sure of their source. Of course, this means there are quite a few Tipronic S 'S's out there, which I suppose figures. Hope this helps...

Djomlas, your avitar/signiture with your car photo is very-very nice. Good job. IMHO, I would remove the miniture one in the lower right corner.
