New 2000 986 Owner

Hi Guys,

New to forum. I have a couple of questions (I did search - honest!):

1) I've got the broken sun visor cover issue on the right (passenger) side. I know this is a common issue. My question is are BOTH visors lighted on the 2000? If I get the whole unit (not just the cover) is any soldering required?

2) There's a plastic plug that goes in the hole shown on the image below around the roof mechanism. Any idea where I'd be able to get one online?

I honestly can't remember if both sides are lighted, but yes, if you replace the pax side you'll have to re-solder the connectors - if I remember it's a two wire system.

As for the hole you're looking at, that's the mounting point for the hard top and Speedster hump latch. If you decide to get a hardtop, you'll need spin locks for the mounting point. You should be able to find the cap easy - Pelican should have them along with other online vendors..
