if yes is it good? do u have pictures of installed ones?

djomlas 10-29-2006 05:47 AM

i think it looks a little ricy, but unique nontheless

denverpete 10-29-2006 06:42 AM

What the hell are those back vents for? So you can direct rocks at cars behind you?

RandallNeighbour 10-29-2006 11:47 AM

I like it personally. I dunno if it's worth 350 bucks, but I like it. The factory back bumper is far too high in the air and this would bring it down a little.

Denver, I think they are trying to give it a more "turbo" look. Since the Turbo bumper has these vents to help the cooling.

Yes, direct rocks @ cars behind you who are following a bit too close.

99% of the time, a few rock chip knockin off bumper paint will stop a tailgater in his track.

KronixSpeed 10-29-2006 01:48 PM

im not sure that this is true. that rocks will be flying. it adds on to the bumper. you aren't putting any holes in the existing bumper.

i agree with randall that the rear bumper needs something to lower or make the back look better.

my question to the seller was that i need to know how it attaches to the rear bumper. i am really confused, that picture is far too sketchy. i don't understand how it would add on.

does someone have a real picture of this on there car, not a photoshop picture..............

KronixSpeed 10-29-2006 01:50 PM

hey i just checked his website, and he has updated it, they actually look pretty good. check it!

RandallNeighbour 10-29-2006 03:00 PM

That looks like an ex-ricer's 911! Geez, what some people will do to attract attention! ;)

Would RUF really put their name on this car??

bmussatti 10-29-2006 03:11 PM

Well, it really is a RUF. Here is a better photo:

You might be a ricer if . . . . .

You have more exhaust decibels than your engine has horsepower.

You have aftermarket FRONT wheels for racing but stock rear wheels.

Your engine makes twice as much horsepower as torque.

17" rims up front, 13" out back on your FWD.

You ever painted your wheels to match the same color of your car.

You put your automatic car in neutral at every stoplight in order to roll it back and try to fool other people into thinking you have a manual transmission

DuPont gave up trying to figure out the shade you were asking for.

Your mod list includes stereo equipment, shifter handle, MOMO steering wheel, PIA driving lights, exhaust tip, but no REAL engine parts.

A chameleon lizard undergoes fewer shade changes than your custom paint scheme.

Your rims and tires are so large, that you have to install the tire / wheel from underneath the car because it simply won't fit in the wheel well going in from the side.

The dealer laughs when you bring your car back in for service under warranty, and you've only had it 6 months...

Your tires / rims stick out from the lip of your car by more than 1."

Your paint job is from the WRONG end of the color spectrum.

You installed spacers on your STOCK wheels and tires to get them to stick out past the fender.

You see cars like yours in a Shriner's Parade for Children and clowns are driving them.

You bring an empty Maxwell House coffee can with you to compare size when you shop for an aftermarket exhaust system.

Your Eclipse GS-T hardtop has a "SPYDER" emblem on the rear...

Your sum knowledge of suspension is: "the more negative camber, the better the handling."

You push your car through the staging lanes. That way, maybe you can break into the 16s by keeping the motor cool between runs.

You add a super tall rear wing, and a hundred pounds of aftermarket ground effects, neon and stereo yet you gut the interior and yank out the rear seat for weight savings.

Your rear wing AND your rear window have a third mount brake light...

KronixSpeed 10-30-2006 05:54 AM

i bought it.....i ll post back with pictures when i get it shipped. probably wont put it on untill the summer....as today is my last day driving, car gets stored...crapppyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

i too was a little skeptical about his bumper piece....but he sold it to me for $200. so lets see how it looks. hopefully not too ricey, as you guys are say...lol

unklekraker 10-30-2006 06:03 AM

and that, my friend why I let go of the Matrix.....ahahahahahaha! coz' I know i'm going to be one if I continue to own the trix' but in the defense of some of my friend who own a rice rocket w/c i still hang out with them....they do it for fun and for car shows but then again, there are people who over use their imagination when it comes to add ons :barf:

you have just perfectly describe the shopping center parking lot of my neighborhood on Friday nights

I think the bumper extension looks pretty cool. Can't wait to see what it looks like installed...

On the other hand, that rear wing on the RUF turbo is ridiculous !

What were they thinking :barf:

I've actually been looking at that part for a few days. The back on the stock bumper needs some work. The only have 1 picture of it on a car. I would like to see what it looks like from the back center. I'm curious how far is sticks out, if any.
