OBC Hack question

just got an e-mail from my brother (I am out of country)

My brother took the car to the shop in daytona beach (I guess he's an individual mechanic who specializing porsches) and they played PST2 for a while (I e-mailed PST2 instruction from forum)
The result they got from PST2 is kinda funny.

"OBC is not present"

I thought all the boxster in US comes with OBC (it's 99')

Since my brother hab no idea about it. (He doesn't know what's PST2). I asked again if the tech hab right equipment. It's surely PST2.

What the hell?

My boxster is brainless~~!!

The coding has to be modified with the PST2 to tell the instrument cluster that it has OBC. It is showing not present on the screen because it has not been turned on. Jeff

OBC = on board computer = trip computer.

Your owners manual will have pictures of what it does if you have this option.
