Blue Painter Tape for Road Trip Front Protection?

Hey Forum,

So I’ve been back and forth on Boxster “post-purchase” vehicle transporter, my truck and UHAUL trailer, or fly out and drive back.

If doing the fly and drive back, trying to think of something to protect bumper and lower hood paint temporarily - I’d hate to ruin a nice paint job! I’ve seen people use that blue painters tape on track days has anyone used on a couple day road trip or have a better (quick delivery or buy down the street) solution???
