Window Regulator - Right vs Left - 986 Forum - The Community for Porsche Boxster & Cayman Owners

My new to me Boxster has a broken window regulator and a new one came with the car. I went to replace it and fear it is for the wrong side. There are no markings on it or the box that indicate which side its for. Is there some give away that would tell me which it is?

Find the part number and then do a search. That will tell you which side it is for.

Finally found a pic that helped me figure it out. Its the correct one but I had to twist the cable around to mate it to the motor. Its a cheap Chinese made one so no part number to reference. Probably won't last long but it'll get me back on the road for now.

I have X/O both of mine with OEM. I tried URO and it failed in less than a year. In their defense they did a full refund.
