Drooping Sun Visor

Hey, All!

I haven't posted in several years, but have been following the forum. Great to see new voices, but sorry that some veterans have retired.

Last year when I revived by 2001 Boxster from winter hibernation, the passenger side sun visor drooped down and won't hold in the proper position, Also, the mirror cover broke off. I've done research to know that I can get a replacement mirror cover, but I am not sure about the drooping visor itself.

I searched the forum, but didn't find any thread specifically speaking to replacing the visor itself for this problem. The few I found just removed it..

Would a new visor solve the problem, or is this an issue with the visor mounting (which I don't think would be worth the price to replace on a 21-year-old Boxster with 153,000 miles)?
