Idlegrip Registered User Join Date: Jul 2019 Posts: 9	Trunk Hi all I’ve been trying to get my trunk open. Fob doesn’t work and cable release seems to have snapped. It’s a base ‘00 986. Do all 986’s have the emergency release cable under the taillight? I’ve been digging around and want to make sure I’m not wasting my time. I can’t get the bumper off completely because the spoiler doesn’t go up. The car is new to me so I haven’t gotten To fix everything yet...
