I have a 04 with the GHL exhaust on it. The exhaust is loud under full throttle but it resonates bad between 2 -3k. It's even worse with the top up. I ran the car for a week with no muffler and I think that sounded better and had less resonance then the GHL.

Here is a website with some video of the GHL muffler.

I can take some video of mine if you want as well.

TTP Headers, Stock exhaust

The cheapest way I found to add a little sound and maybe a few HP is the Fabspeed cat bypass pipes. But I am loving the sound and performance that I get with TTP headers and high-flow cats going into a stock muffler. I tried aftermarket mufflers, like the Gemballa, with the header/cat rig but it was too loud for my tastes. The problem with the TTP rig is a big one and it is $$$,

Someone else posted that if you buy a single chamber sport exhaust you can avoid the loud resonance all of us dual chamber muffler owners are experiencing in the 2-3k rpm range.

I took a long driving trip this weekend in mine and having to shift to a lower gear to avoid this rpm range while driving around the small town I was in was a little frustrating.

I actually think my resonance is worse than if I just did the muffler without the headers. The aftermarket headers I am running are far larger and longer than the weenie stock headers on the car.
