Help

What does a cracked cylinder head repair entail?

I think;
Engine drop
Remove heads
Send off to to be welded
New gasket kit
Refit new head(s)

What special tools/parts are required?

Assuming I do all the work myself except welding What will it cost?

Thanks

I had to do the same thing and it was about $3000. I replaced several parts while I was in there. Sent the head to Hoffman Engineering as they are the experts and was about $750. I've put about 40k miles since and runs great.

Can you give me more details;

Cost breakdown?
Special tools?
Difficulty?
