Rear Wing... Automatic?

Hey everyone!

I’m confused about the rear wing on my 01 986. I’m not completely sure if it goes up automatically or not. I know for sure that it goes up when I use the manual switch but I can’t really see it when driving. Is there a setting that I need to use to make it go up automatically?

If the spoiler warning light comes on when the ignition is turned on and then goes out, and doesn't come on when you drive over 75 MPH, the spoiler is working properly.

Anker is correct.

As per the user manual, the spoiler will automatically raise once your vehicle speed reaches 75MPH/120KMH and will also automatically lower itself once you reach I believe somewhere between 37 or 49MPH. (Someone correct me if I am wrong.)

If the wing fails to raise when you hit 75MPH, you will see the spoiler light show up on your dashboard.

The speed limit is 15Mph in Shanghai, 1.5Mph during rush hours, which is, well, 24/7.
Love that switch!!!
