Need suggestion for coating for small fraying spots on canvas convertible top.

My 2003 Boxster S top is in pretty decent shape, except for a couple of spots where the wear and tear from folding towards the back sides has started to fray through the outer layer of canvas.

There's one spot in particular that's become a hole in the outer layer about the size of a dime.

I don't think it necessarily needs a patch.

My thought is to coat a thin layer of clear weatherproof flexible canvas adhesive over the spot with a small brush to prevent further decay in that spot, hopefully without drawing too much attention to it.

But I'm not sure what to use.

I've been searching the web and the forums.

Possibilities I've found that seem they might work: Stormsure, Rhino Glue, E6000..

Anyone have any good advice for me?

Thank you!
