That's because the 987.1 (2005-2008) never came from the factory with 16" wheels. 17" was the smallest on a 987.1. Do the front and rear wheels match?

I would suggest 30 psi for your fronts, then keep an eye on wear. Watch to see if both edges or the center show wear. The former means not enough air, the latter too much.

My second 'I would suggest' finding a pair of 18" fronts for a 987.

Yes all wheels match and it runs beautifully grips like xxx well you know what. I am very happy with the performance I am getting just could not find any pressures. Thanks for your reply.
