I will miss you guys

Been thinking about selling my 01 986S and a friend connected me with someone that was in the market and we cut the deal today. My car was under 40K miles and I was only putting a couple thousand miles on it each year. In my case, I found myself jumping into my 18 S4 more and more - I guess the power and creature comforts were winning out

All in all, I have found this site and it's members to be very helpful and a great place to visit each day - regardless of which car I drove to work. I will likely continue to log in for a while.

Not sure what's next in terms of a fun car, but I am sure I will find something... maybe something a bit newer.

There comes a time. I was in the same situation - only 500 miles a year and not worth the juggling cars around the driveway. Believe it or not I replaced it with a Prius wagon just because it was so different it was still fun to drive. Now contemplating an EV. But even though my last of three Porsches was 8 years ago I still come back here.

Good travels through life.

You're always welcome here. Once a 986 owner, always a 986 owner.

As said, no reason to leave the forum.
I am no longer a Boxster owner, traded for a pickup truck (Long story)
But I like coming on to see whats happening, recommend oil, tires and IMSB options
Will I get another Boxster, don't think so. Maybe someday a Caymen or a 911 when all the stars line up with the moon and sun.
Stay in touch
