My replacement switch was $40 from Pelican.....but I bought the OEM Audi Part.....not sure about the $10 version.

FORD is also Fixed Or Repaired Daily.

My original ignition switch lasted 13 years. I got a replacement one from NAPA in a pinch and it lasted all of 6 months. I subsequently had the steering column lock and switch converted to the updated version, which still uses the original tumbler lock and keys.
