For those of you that have done engine swap questions....

I have a 99 Boxster and thinking of dropping a 01 Boxster S Engine in it since the engine is shot on mine. I was told I could use a 996 DME or have my stock DME updated which is probably the route I was thinking of going but who does these updates and whats the usual costs on them?

Also is there anything else I should be doing for the swap?

Thanks in advance

It will be cheaper to buy an 01 Boxster S.

Maybe a 996 engine from the same era?
