So here is maybe an obvious question - did you crawl under the car (Jacked up of course unless you are very, very thin person) and look???

Left side (Driver's side) would be where the Oil filter canister is. I believe there is an AOS oil venting line as well. Also Spark plug tube leaking could be a possibility

Gotta get under and snoop around, It's beautiful under the rear of a Porsche Boxster

Oil overflow tube?
AOS oil venting line?

I'm not an expert..... but I wasn't born yesterday either. Haha

The AOS "vents" to the crankcase.
And I don't know what you're calling an oil overflow tube. ?
