engine: 986100923FX part number

Hi everyone,
I’m new to this forum. Just purchased a new 04 boxster that had the engine replaced in 09 because of the IMS issue. The dealership can’t confirm that this new engine replaced won’t have the same IMS failure. Any words of advise? The part number on the work order says 986100923FX but noticed there’s multiple part number like this that end in GX or BX??? Anyone know what that means

You probably have the 3rd & last design IMSB which should be the most reliable OEM bearing.
No need to worry about it as long as you change the oil as you should. Read LN Engineering recommendations for oil to use.
