The only product I have used on my top is the Porsche OEM top protectant from the dealership. I did the whole masking off process before spraying and it went on nice and evenly. That was in 2015. I rarely drive in the rain or with the top up for that matter but the water still beads up after 4+ years when I wash the car. And the can still has some product in it.

Nice. I looked at the Amazon comments... and just 1 negative of 55. That's the route next I'll take. Thanks for the heads up!
