Cat hair on roof cleaning
Left my garage open for 30 minutes unattended and came back to find the top of the Boxtser full of cat hair.
What is the best way to get that filth off my cars top?
I'm prepared to try compressed air, pressure washer, sticky tape roller or one of those brushes used for getting junk off your clothes.
Just wondering what works best.

I would try lint roller. If that doesn't work try duct tape. Also I don't think we are supposed to talk about cats on this forum....just saying.

Cool, I'll try the lint roller first.
When I was editing the post I initially typed in some blasphemy about the culprit but thought better of it and wisely left it out as you say that cats are a forbidden topic.

Don’t even start with cottonwood trees! What a pain. I use a lint roller then a stiff brush with compressed air. Should get it done pretty quickly.

Add another for lint rollers. Use that in general to quickly rid the canvas of dust and other assorted junk.

Can't remember where I got them (likely Amazon), but you can buy large lint rollers. Just be careful to let the roller roll. If you pull against it sideways and/or "skid" the roller, it'll leave white marks that are a pain in the derriere to remove. Also, go light over the frame areas, or you'll get white marks there too.

A strip of packing tape works well too.
I HATE cottonwood trees. I contend they should all be cut down.

Last night I used the pressure washer to knock off the considerable garage dust off the car and washed it so I could start driving it again.
The pressure washer took about half the hair off and once its dry I'll go over whats left with the lint roller.
I had to cringe at all the little scuffs and scratches that develop no matter how careful one is.
Fortunately I have the Turtle Black Box wax and detailing spray and it does a great job buffing out the scuffs and hiding the scratches with a wax that does not whiten but stays black. That stuff is great!

This is going to sound weird, but bear with me here.
Electrosurgery return electrodes are, hands down, the best way to remove cat hair from a convertible top.
They're large, they have a nice and sticky gel to pick up the hair, and most importantly they are specifically designed to NOT leave any residue behind. The gel is an added bonus compared to a normal lint roller, because when you push down on it the gel kinda just envelops the hair instead of relying only on being sticky.
The hardest part though is finding a way to get ahold of them. I'm just lucky in that I work for a medical device company on the same campus where they manufacture them, so if they have a rejected batch I scoop some up for later use. If you do find a spot to buy them, make sure to get the ones that have no cord attached.
