aligning strut back to the car

Believe it or not I lined it up with one hand and while holding the strut in place I reached out with my other hand and tightened the screws. I do agree that a small jack will be a huge help. Im going to pick one up before doing other 3 wheels. Thanks for the tip

Good you did the rear first because front is more easier to replace the struts. Meaning, it will be lot easier for you since you did the harder side.

I replaced mine all 4 corners with bilstein also last year. Also, you may want to mark with a sharpy your various adjustments/bolts so u can install it back almost same alignment before removal. I did that and when time for actual alignment, there is only minor adjustment done by the alignment guy.

Fantastic! Thanks for the tip and that is a great news to hear about the front shocks, I was having a seconds thoughts if I should have done this myself
