Sourcing Ignition coils

Need a recommendation for coils for my 2000 base 986. The reason I ask is I recently replaced the coils on my BMW X3. The price disparity was staggering for the exact same Bosch coils and plugs. Thanks.

I've used Beru coils on both my Boxster and my 996. They worked great and were about 1/2 the price of Porsche-branded coils.

Great, and where did you buy them from? Thanks.

Just picked up a new Bosch coil from FCP Euro for about $40.

I also went with Beru, I believe from this site's sponsor.
Make sure they include longer bolts as they are thicker than original.
