Replace headlight corner trim

Does anyone know how to replace the corner trim piece on a headlight? Had a small problem in the garage with a bike falling against the car, no scratches or dents (don't ask!), just cracked the corner trim piece. Bought a new one on eBay. Thanks.

Mostly pop the headlight and fiddle with the corner trim until the old one is removed. Sorry that's not helpful, but it seems a bit more obvious once you're looking at it.

look in the owner's manual or search how to remove the headlight to change a bulb. Once the light unit is out you can see how to snap the old corner piece out and the new one in. There should be a tool for headlight removal in the tool roll in the back of the spare tire. If you don't have the tool, or even if you do, a 1/4 inch drive, 6 point 8mm (I think) deep socket with an extension and ratchet can make getting the light out a little easier sometimes. When you put the light back in, make sure all the tracks on the light unit are properly engaging and it may need just a little extra oomph to get it properly seated.
