Intermittent CEL 0650

Any one deal with a intermittent CEL 0650? It came on after putting my stock manifolds back and I have not done any other work to the car since. After about 3-4 drive cycles it'll turn off but appear again in another 3-4 drive cycles. I've tried clearing it but it came back.

All i know is 0650 is a malfunction with the cel indicator light. Any input on how to diagnose this?

Thanks I'll read up on that thread.

I guess i should add after installing the stock manifolds i got my car smogged. It passed but a few days later is when the cel came on. All i saw the smog tech do was open my drivers door and i assume plug in his scanner to the obd2 port.

Long shot but could testing if the emissions equipment are functioning properly cause the cel?

Could be you didn't get one of your O2 sensors plugged in all the way?

Wouldn't that cause the engine to run poor? I know the ecu stores mapping history in case maf/o2 sensors are left unplugged but I've cleared the code and i believe the fuel maps get cleared too. The engine is running fine.

No.

One of the possible causes for this code is an open circuit. That could be your open circuit. It's not hard to get back under there and check the connections and rule it out as a possible cause if they are fine.
