Turbo Twist Shimmy

It appears that a PO may have hit a pot hole real hard on the passenger side of my 2001 986S.
Since I've had the car, approaching 75mph results in a shake until moving up to a higher speed. When I put new tires on, the installer identified that these two wheels are a bit out of round and needed to be balanced a bit special.

Question: is there good results with having a wheel guy true a turbo twist wheel or is it a 'good money after bad' situation?

Thanks!
