It's a bit more complicated. Here's a thread from awhile back. Me personally, I love the look. I'd like to find a '03-'04 986S with some light front end damage. Do this to the front and a Z-top.
Why? Because the purists and the PCA breakfasts would have fits trying to figure it all out.
