Anyone know a reason why neither interior release works, but key still opens both lids?
Is there perhaps a function that disables the interior releases for valet purposes?
A mechanics forum suggested that the release mechanism uses a cable, which may be broken. I don't think the releases are mechanical because the problem effects both front & rear lids and the problem was initially sporadic, though now neither work at all.
