Magic???

I drove my '01 base this morning and found that the digital speedometer and odometer readings were showing in KPH. How did this happen and how do I get back to MPH? My manual shows the clock reset as the KPH/MPH reset but all I do is change the clock setting. TIA

Just turn the clock knob to the left (CCW) and hold for a few seconds until it changes.

I tried that but it didn't move. I'll go out and try it again. Thanks!

Both of my 2000 Boxsters are originally from the US and the this works, though you may have to try a couple of times. Don't push the knob in when you turn. This should only change the digital speedometer and the odometer... the analog speedometer remains in MPH as far as I know. For someone in Canada who crosses the border fairly often this is kinda' cool because you don't have to fiddle with the knob for a short drive on the US side... like when I go down to Champlain NY to pick up a package of parts.
