Hello, I am working on replacing the water pump and thermostat using a Pelican Parts water pump kit on my 2001 Boxster S. I also bought replacement hoses for some of the other hoses, but I am having a hard time taking them off. In the attached image, this hose is next to the water pump as shown by the red arrow. Does anyone know what it does ? I am tempted to cut it out and replace it with a new one that I have, but want to make sure I am not damaging anything.
