Some of what you need to do should depend on the mileage but you said you don't know the mileage. Why is that, is the gauge cluster not working? Odometer not working? Or do you just not trust whatever it says? What does it say, if it's working?

Sorry, I didn't know the millage when I bought it because the battery was dead. After we got that replaced, the car shows 26K miles. The odometer is working and I have no reason to question it.
