keyless entry

Just lately I can no longer open or lock the doors with my remote fob. Tried both fobs and changed batteries on both to no avail. Any idea what the problema could be?

Replace all buttons, repair IC solder joints.

How long since you last drove your car?
I went on vacation recently for a week and my keyless didn't work when I got back. You have to unlock the door manually and start the car. After that it'll work fine.

Good point. And do this within 60 seconds.

Yes after 5-7 days of not using the car I'd have to open the car with the key and then the remote would work normally. The remote started to work every once in awhile until it just stopped working. Might be the solder like was mentioned. I know I won't be able to fix it.
