Pieces of foam coming out of my vents
Can anyone tell me why pieces of black foam are coming out of my air vents?

The diverter doors are covered in foam . From what Ive seen The door is a thin metal frame covered with foam over time the material disintegrates and get blown through the vents .

Your IMS is failing, and as it’s made of foam, it is blowing out the vents.

Funny, it seemed normal to me. I was like "Oh it's an old German car. Been HERE before." My S6 used to do it too.
