Need help with AC problem

I have a 97 986 that I bought a month ago. My concern is the AC not working. The control panel had missing pixels so I replaced it with a used unit thinking this might be the problem. The pixels all work but the problem is still there.
the fan lights go up as you press the fan button but there is no blower sound or air. the temp moves up and down but does nothing. When the AC snowflake button is pressed the snowflake light doesn't come on. No sound from compressor.
I checked fuses and relays. All ok. Checked low side ac pressure and it was ok too.
I don't know where to check next. Does anyone have any ideas? Help appreciated!

I had a 98 that the AC indicated it was working but the fan wouldn't blow. Replaced ignition switch and all good. My snowflake would come on, just not the fan.
