New Motor

Since LN Engineering had a sale I bought a new motor to fix my low oil pressure problem. What parts need to be replaced when installing a new motor?

I think it comes with all new parts, are you looking for reliability mods, like for track?

If thats the one on sale free shipping ect... reading their website has everything new except track type mods.

Wow! Congrats! It's a long block isn't it? If it doesn't come with a water pump, get one of those. A new serpentine belt. A magnetic drain plug. A spin on oil filter adapter.

You didn't mention if your car is a tiptronic or a manual. If manual, get a new flywheel & clutch. Only other thing to consider is an underdrive pulley.

Of course, a new air filter and a new gas filter and new hoses as needed. New coils and plugs, too.

Thank you guys its a 6 speed trany. Complete long block with water pump. Can a Porsche dual mass flywheel be re-surfaced ?

As long as the engine is coming out, maybe you want to install a 987 air filter housing. Also check your motor mount and transmission mounts, CV joints and boots, AOS.

I want to see how this turns out. Seems like a good deal for a completely rebuilt bullet proof engine
