Boxster Bumper Covers

Hey guys,

I'm looking for pics of aftermarket bumper covers and any tips on removal and replacement. I'm considering a unit called the MK II, $749.00 from GT Motorsports.net.

Thanks..

How about these for $295 :

Click "Products" and scroll down to "Painted Bumperettes"

Are those the same as "aftermarket bumper covers" ?

Thanks but I'm looking to replace the entire front cover, my boxster was used and the only visible flaw I could find was a small crack in the cover, since I'm replacing it I thought I'd investigate all the possible options including a stock exchange.

I gave the wrong addy in my first post it's

I've replaced both front and rear covers on my car. My front is a GT3 Bumper MKI the MKII that you specify comes from the newer cars and is more than likey a fiberglass remake that has the headlight cut outs to fit the boxster. I would highly recommend you stay factory and go with the GT3 MKI as it is a direct bolt on. I did the install myself. The first time i removed the cover it took about 30 mins off and 30mins on. It really simple. Ive done it afte that just to clean around the radiators and it takes 10mins to get it off and 10mins to put it back on.

If you are interested in the MKI bumper check out the picture in my signature. I pursched my parts from Dayton at DPS Parts.

Good luck,
James DeMircift

No it does not come with anything. It does have the holes however, just use your old bracket. Also you need to save your towing eye Cover. The new one does not come with one.
