Best for long distance is the foot massaging pedals (you have to drive barefoot to really appreciate)

For top down driving, the Toupee securing head screws

I do like the subtle exhaust note from the cat delete pipes

Handling

For me, after 10 years of driving my S 987.1 the best two (most noticeable) mods were:

In chronological order
1) Adjustable coilovers (compression/rebound)
2) OS Giken LSD

The coilovers are amazing as you can lower the car without getting stiffer ride for the street and the LSD transforms the car completely.

Now that I no longer have the 987.1 these are my goals for the 981, so all I need to is start eating ramen noodles every day and start saving..

PS: The 3.8 LN Nickies & pistons were next on the 987.1 list, but somehow my destiny changed..

Thanks.
I built them using Fred's bi-xenon projectors. They are dual projector (main is bi-xenon HID, smaller is LED) with CCFL DRLs.

Function: 9x7 short shifter
Form: Fred’s bixenon headlight conversion. And I rarely drive the car at night...

On the earlier models, one of the cheapest mods is modifying the wiring in the fuse panel so the fog lights become daytime running lights. All it costs is a couple of pieces of wire and a connector, , which is essentially free if you have it lying around. But its a good idea to replace the fog bulbs with cheapo Chinese LEDs so you dont burn the inside of the very expensive headlights.

Total cost around $20.
