Other service during IMS replacement on 2005 S

Fellow Boxster lovers,
I am a newbie that bought a nice 2005 S last Fall and am having the LN IMS replacement bearing installed this week. 64000 miles on the car, going to meet with shop owner this afternoon after vehicle is torn apart. Already was told that clutch looks good but they recommend a new throw-out bearing replacement. Would you in the know give me advice on other items to have inspected and replaced while the car is apart besides the rear main seal. I welcome and thank you for your advice.

I think it is a little easier to replace the AOS while the transmission is out. So that may be something to consider. I assume they will tell you if the CV joints and boots are in good condition. If your transmission needs anything, that's another "as long as you're in there" thing to take care of, but if it shifts fine, the synchros are good and it stays in 2nd gear then I think you're good to go there. Good luck!
