Is this correct?

98 Boxster

I'll be installing the S coil cooler this Spring. Among the associated parts I've been hoarding I have the o-rings for the oil cooler.

These rings look rather large and, not having pulled the original oil cooler, would like someone to chime in and tell me the rings look to be the correct size and that, once I pull the original cooler, it will be clear.

Or not.

Which one?

Thank you.

Hard to tell from the photo but yes, the rings are seated in the engine block and not in the cooler, so they will be larger than the in/out ports on the cooler. Use the o-ring numbers that petain to your motor.

No. Two of the rings are a different size and usually also a different color (green).

Different sizes, yes. Different colours, not necessarily. There are two different models of cooler, one with a chamfered connection (green o-ring) and one without (black o-ring). See the PET and the corresponding notes for clarification.

Thank you, all. Will order the 2 smaller rings.

I've 2 extra o-rings if anyone needs them. Gratis. PM me.
