I've been purchasing from PP since 2005. Never have I had to pay for shipping. My orders have never been under the $100 shipping threshold.
I chose to take advantage of the offer... added the stands to the cart (with additional items, as usual).
OK. 10% discount. OK.
OK. Tax. OK. The numbers are aligning with what I expected to see, until the shipping charge showed up.
I commenced a chat with the service representative and was left hanging while the rep answered another call. While I was waiting I decided to look further into the Esco stands... did some comparison shopping and sourced them, with shipping, for 19% less with free shipping.
Before I memorialized the transaction I returned to the chat window... and remained hanging.
