996 Door on a 986?

Hi All,

I want to replace the driver door on my 986, as it is not original and currently has a dent in it. I found a door from a 996 in Arctic Silver, which is the colour of my car. Would this door fit my car? I know the glass is different, but wondering if the door itself would work. Thanks for your feedback.

It will. Per the 986 PET, the left door is 996-531-011-02.
