What is this called ?

Probably an easy answer
About 2 years ago something went crack in my roof and the light on my dash board for the roof stopped coming on when taking down or closing the roof
Finally found this when putting in new powering steering fluid
I am guessing this was the offending issue and I need to replace the cable
Can anyone tell me what it is called

So I can purchase one
Thanks in advance

I replaced one of mine when I bought the car in 2014. The price from the dealer was $25.00 . . . Canadian.
